Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center

Fyzical Therapy at its best
Meet Meghan MacArdy, Ben Jones and Hannah Sanchez
by Kevin Boerup
When Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center opened its doors at 3710 W. Overton Road in October 2025, the mission was clear: deliver better outcomes by putting patients first. The clinic was designed to give clinicians the time, tools, and autonomy needed to provide thoughtful, effective care.
Owned by Meghan MacArdy, and staffed by clinicians Ben Jones and Hannah Sanchez, the practice blends advanced balance care, runner-focused gait analysis, and pelvic floor therapy, with a care model centered on direct clinician involvement. The result is a clinic that feels focused, personal, and purpose-built for meaningful recovery.
Meet the Team
Meghan MacArdy, PT, DPT
Meghan brings extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics PT and firsthand knowledge of running and endurance training. Originally from Wisconsin, she completed her education in Florida and worked across the Southwest, including Taos and Santa Fe, before returning to Tucson. A former competitive runner, Meghan understands both athletic and everyday movement demands. She previously owned and operated a PT clinic in Santa Fe and now combines that business insight with hands-on patient care. Outside the clinic, she remains active in the local running and trail community.
Ben Jones, PT, DPT
Ben specializes in balance and vestibular rehabilitation and is a board certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatrics. His path took him from Ohio to South Carolina, North Carolina, and Omaha, where he trained at Creighton University. At Fyzical, Ben leads vestibular evaluations, BPPV treatment, and harnessed balance training. Patients appreciate his calm demeanor and clear explanations, especially when navigating symptoms like dizziness or vertigo.
Hannah Sanchez, PT, DPT
A lifelong gymnast from Florida, Hannah brings exceptional body awareness and precision to pelvic floor therapy. She completed both her undergraduate and physical therapy education at the University of Central Florida before relocating to Arizona with her husband. Hannah treats urinary incontinence, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, and bowel dysfunction in private treatment rooms. Her empathetic approach helps patients feel comfortable discussing their sensitive concerns.
Broad Care With Specialized Depth
While known for balance, gait analysis, shockwave therapy, and pelvic floor rehabilitation, the clinic also provides comprehensive outpatient physical therapy. Services include post-surgical rehabilitation for the knee, hip, shoulder, and spine; orthopedic injuries; sports and overuse conditions; chronic pain; and select neurologic conditions appropriate for outpatient care.
Every patient works directly with a doctor of physical therapy. Evaluations are thorough, treatment plans are individualized, and care is guided by evidence rather than shortcuts or handoffs.
A Clinic Above the Rest
Balance as a Core Specialty
Balance disorders are a leading cause of falls and loss of independence, especially in older adults. At Fyzical, balance and vestibular rehabilitation are central services. Clinicians assess vision, somatosensory input, and vestibular function to distinguish dizziness, vertigo, and general imbalance, allowing for precise treatment.
Advanced Diagnostic and Training Tools
The clinic uses Infrared Video Oculography to visualize eye movements and accurately diagnose conditions such as BPPV, often confirming symptom resolution in real time. A harnessed rail system allows patients to safely challenge balance limits while minimizing fall risk.
Run DNA Gait Analysis
Runners and active walkers benefit from a 3D gait-analysis system that evaluates movement from foot to hip. This technology identifies contributors such as ankle stiffness, hip weakness, or excessive pronation. Clinicians design corrective programs delivered through a digital portal to help prevent injury and improve performance.
A Care Model Built Around Time and Quality
Care is delivered directly by clinicians rather than technicians, allowing for meaningful one-on-one treatment. The clinic accepts Medicare, provides superbills for out-of-network plans, and offers cash-pay options to keep care accessible.
Community Engagement
From sponsoring local races to participating in chamber events and hosting workshops, the team stays actively involved in the community. Electronic intake and exercise platforms make follow-through easier for patients.
Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center remains focused on delivering hands-on, specialized care to Northwest Tucson and Oro Valley.
